New Features and Enhancements

Introducing AI Assisted Editing: Prompt-Driven Support for Smarter Curriculum Development

We’re excited to introduce AI Assisted Editing, a powerful new tool designed to enhance curriculum development through prompt-driven AI support.  This feature provides intelligent suggestions when editing courses and units based on user prompts, helping educators and curriculum designers refine and structure content more efficiently.

With our upgraded editors, users will experience faster performance, greater stability, and enhanced functionality—including improved formatting tools and advanced content structuring options. These updates ensure a more seamless, reliable, and user-friendly experience when creating and refining curriculum documents.

AI Assisted Editing works based on the prompts users provide, acting as a responsive tool to enhance workflow and streamline content development. However, it is not a replacement for the thought work necessary for curriculum design. Educators and curriculum designers remain at the heart of the process, with AI serving as a collaborative partner to support their expertise, not substitute it.

AI Assisted Editing is available as an opt-in featurecontact your Customer Success Manager if you're interested in enabling it for your team!

Enhancing the Publishing Experience for Eduplanet21’s Curriculum Blueprint

As we approach the publishing/board approval season, we’ve made small but impactful improvements to the publishing interface for Eduplanet21’s Curriculum Blueprint, where teams publish curriculum documents for public viewing. These updates are designed to simplify the process, improve usability, and enhance clarity when managing your curriculum.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Clearer Course Status Indicators – New colored banners help users quickly distinguish between draft and published courses, reducing confusion and improving organization.
  • Streamlined Publishing Interface – A new one-page layout simplifies the publishing workflow, making it easier and faster to review and finalize curriculum documents.
  • Simplified Course and Unit Naming – Users can now add prefixes to all new draft courses and units at once, ensuring better organization and tracking of unpublished content.

These enhancements are just the beginning—stay tuned for more updates aimed at making curriculum publishing even more seamless!

Prioritizing Performance Improvements in 2025

Performance is a top priority for us this year, and we are committed to delivering a faster, more responsive experience across Eduplanet21. In this release, we’ve made improvements to loading times for key areas of the platform, including:

  • Individual Courses and Units
  • 'View Courses’ and ‘View Units’ Pages
These performance enhancements are just the beginning—we will continue rolling out regular updates throughout 2025 to further optimize speed, stability, and overall user experience. Stay tuned for ongoing improvements!

Resolved Issues and Improvements

  • User Interface (UI) fixes: Fixed an issue where there was no spacing between selections when multiple options are selected (such as unit number and pacing) in the header for "grid/storyboard" view of Units in the Curriculum Blueprint.
  • General Stability Enhancements: Various minor bug fixes and improvements to ensure a smoother experience.

Looking Ahead...

We’re continuously working to improve our platform and provide the best tools for curriculum development. In 2025, our focus is on better performance and the implementation of a modern, user-friendly interface and personalized experience. This means we are dedicated to not only enhancing the speed and reliability of our platform but also redesigning the interface to be more intuitive and visually appealing. Our aim is to create an environment where educators can navigate seamlessly, making the curriculum development process more enjoyable and efficient.

We will introduce customizable features that allow users to tailor their experience according to their specific needs and preferences, ensuring that each educator can work in a way that best suits their teaching style.

Additionally, ongoing user feedback will play a crucial role in shaping these enhancements, as we strive to align our updates with the needs and expectations of our community.
