Here is a list of New Jersey Template enhancements released June 4, 2023.

New Jersey template enhancements

We’re excited to announce new template enhancements to Course Planner and Unit Planner for our New Jersey customers! We have been working behind the scenes to create new course and unit templates with considerations specific to the state of New Jersey, driven by the New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (NJQSAC). 


New Jersey schools and districts can now benefit from having numerous goal selection areas to streamline and focus the curriculum design process, including:

  • Content Standards
  • Interdisciplinary Standards
  • Content Area Practices
  • Computer Science and Design Thinking (Standard 8)
  • Career Readiness, Key Skills, and Life Literacies (Standard 9)

New Jersey mandates have also been made available for selection, with the ability to align to specific learning activities. Mandates include:

  • Amistad Law: N.J.S.A. 18A 52:16A-88 
  • Holocaust Law: N.J.S.A. 18A:35-28
  • LGBT and Disabilities Law: N.J.S.A. 18A:35-4.35 
  • Instruction on Diversity and Inclusion: 18A:35-4.36a
  • Asian American and Pacific Islander Inclusive Curriculum: S4021/A6100 and S3764/A3369
  • Social Emotional Learning Competencies
